Halibut And Garlic

Garlic is not only a good food but it is also a good taste stimulant in recipes. This recipe will hopefully be another good addition on this guide to how to cook halibut fish.


Ingredients


* a couple of tablespoons butter
* four green onions, finely chopped
* 1/4 pot red-colored bell pepper, finely chopped
* a couple of cloves garlic, minced
* one tablespoon crushed red-colored pepper flakes (optional)
* four (6 ounce) halibut fillets
* one tablespoon lemon juice
* salt and pepper to flavor
* a couple of sprigs cilantro leaves
* 1/4 pot dry white wine
* one teaspoon dried dill weed
* one teaspoon dried tarragon
* one pot chicken broth
* 1/2 pot half-and-half cream
* 1/2 pot grated Parmesan cheese
* one tablespoon lemon juice
* one tablespoon all-purpose flour
* 1/4 pot drinking water
* toasted slivered almonds


Procedure

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a shallow baking dish. Rub the halibut fillets with one tablespoon of lemon juice, then couple of years with salt and pepper. Location the fillets to the ready baking dish, then press the cilantro leaves onto the best from the halibut. Bake the halibut within the preheated oven till the fish flakes very easily having a fork, 15 to 20 mins. Meanwhile, melt the butter inside a skillet more than medium heat. Stir within the green onions, red-colored bell pepper, garlic, and red-colored pepper flakes till the veggies have softened, about five mins. Pour within the white wine, and couple of years with dill and tarragon. Simmer for a couple of mins, then add the chicken broth, half-and-half, Parmesan cheese, and remaining one tablespoon of lemon juice; couple of years with salt and pepper to flavor. Provide to some boil more than medium-high heat, then dissolve the flour to the drinking water, and stir to the boiling sauce. Return to some boil, then decrease the heat to medium-low, and simmer till the sauce has thickened, about 10 mins. Spoon the sauce more than the halibut to serve.
